Source coverage

The 5 November morning watch attempted 23 source families. Current public listing summaries were readable and searched for eight. Coverage was limited for the other 15. A later review opened three MSTC catalogues and verified panel contents in the NISE Gurugram and NTPC Ramagundam lots.

Auction-it: The public calendar showed a loading error. Its legacy calendar did not expose readable current lots during the review. Event-level availability remains unverified.

How to read the tracker

  • Advertised date and quantity: Each date shows whether it is the auction date, listed close or quotation deadline. If the notice gives a separate quote cutoff, the row shows it under the published terms. The linked notice sets out the full lot and its units.
  • Published price: A reserve, starting price or offer shown in the notice. It is separate from the amount actually paid. Prices for mixed lots should not be treated as module-only rates.
  • EMD and cost terms: Earnest money deposit (EMD) is a participation deposit. Loading and other costs are listed only when documented; check the source for who pays and the applicable terms.
  • Verified outcome: Awards and collection are recorded only when supported by the linked evidence. A dash marks an unverified value.

Before you bid

Confirm eligibility, deposits, inspection and collection with the auctioneer. Resolve site access and unauthorised payment demands in writing. Use the buyer checklist to record open questions.

How a current listing qualifies

  • A current public notice must identify the event, photovoltaic material, location and advertised schedule. An intermediary notice is labelled as advertised. Seller or auction-platform confirmation is recorded separately when verified.
  • The record states the source-check date and the advertised inspection, registration, deposit and bidding deadlines separately, including the time zone where confirmed.
  • Quantities and prices retain their stated units and qualifications. Reserve prices, deposits and sale outcomes are distinct fields.
  • Unknown or conflicting terms remain visible. A scheduled event is labelled upcoming only as of its source check. Live bidding requires direct confirmation that the bidding window is open.
  • Once an advertised deadline passes, availability requires a fresh check. A passed date alone does not establish a completed sale. This page is a dated review and does not promise complete market coverage.

What historical notices teach us about costs

In a Bap, Rajasthan notice, the reserve was ₹2,500 each for 14 frame-damaged modules. The buyer also had to lift 702 glass-damaged modules at ₹500 each. On those advertised terms the two components total ₹3,86,000 before GST, before adding any costs the notice does not state. That is a worked reading of the notice. No sale price was verified.

Other notices illustrate distinct obligations. A Bikaner listing assigned lifting to the bidder. The NISE composite lot required full lifting and buyer-arranged loading and transport. Its closing date comes from NISE’s revised notice.

Before bidding, use the buyer bid-readiness checklist. Before pickup, check dispatch readiness. For a dated snapshot, read the India Solar Module Auction Brief.
